Wow. Just wow. This is one of the best episodes I had ever watched. Zankyou no Terror probably does it in the right way. The characters, the stories, the way they animated the moves, the songs just caught my attention. From the very first scene of nuclear stealing, they had built a very real business of what’s this show is gonna be about.

Characters and story – Nine (Arata Kokonoe) and Twelve (Touji Hisami) are two mysterious teenage high school boys called themselves “Sphinx” on youtube; ran away from some terrifying facilities. Lisa Mishima is a troubled high school girl who happens to be in the same class as Twelve. Lisa seems to have this panic attack or whatever every time her mom texts her, beside she has been bullied by girls and the look of her face when she’s about to jump into the pool, kinds of… I just can’t find the right word. I love Lisa’s inner words of “a smile like a sun in a hot summer day and eyes like ice”, got me. The three of them has these different personalities that make these characters very unique in their own ways. Oh, and I almost forgot about this detective guy, probably he’s gonna try to catch our cool teenage terrorists.

Don’t really know what’s going here, but they literally blow down the building. It’s not like they are some kind of terrorists who bombed because God tells them so, they have past but the reason behind their action is still covered in mystery; which I don’t mind because that’s what keeps this interesting. As Lisa is caught in their scheme as the x factor, I don’t know what’s gonna be her fate. Damn, this show is just so good. I mean they do their shit without masks here they’re just running casually in uniforms, standing in an open rooftop, they have confidence in what they’re doing.

Animation and Ost – Well, I might not an expert in animation but shit, this is not standard animation for sure. I feel like I’m watching an animation for movie and apparently people is talking about 24 frames or whatever which I think sounds cool. I love it how they make the camera looks like moving or something. The opening and ending songs are perfect for a Psychological Thriller like this.

Overall, this is really something new for me and I get a feeling this is gonna be a cool show, looking forward to next episode which is today!
