A slice of life episode for this week, as Nitori says goodbye to his beloved Senpai, Rin, our new cutie Momotarou takes Rin’s place. The Iwatobi boys and Kou-chan are still struggling with recruitment for their new member. Like seriously, running a relay around with swimsuits? LOL at Haruka’s way of running and the commentators’ “Like two bodies in perfect harmony” comment. They might win the race (thanks to Rei) but nobody comes.

As we do know Rei only swims butterfly, which is enough for Haruka because he only swims freestyle. Well, it’s not enough for Rei, the track team captain asks him for his comeback but he refuses. And the worries spread as Nagisa reports Rei’s behavior to Haruka and co. Serously I thought it’d be fun if Rei has a girlfriend and then I remember it’s an anime about sport.

Makoto plays mommy role in family meeting; still the Iwatobi boys and Kou-chan don’t have a clue of Rei’s little business. Turns out our Moves-Like-Jagger-Shark teaches Rei how to swim in other styles. Dem et, it looks like a gay date to me. Poor Momotarou thinks the cookie is from Kou. I wonder what kind of methods Rin used to teach Rei, like seriously even Haruka couldn’t do it. At the end everyone pretend as they surprise with Rei’s new ability to swim in different styles.

Well, not a really a great episode, but not bad. Looking from next week preview I think the tension will come next week as the past of Sousuke and Rin will be revealed.
