Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love 1000% [Final] – Not Bad But Not Really Cool

Remember when I say I was so hyped to watch this? Well forget that. Okay I admit I didn’t really enjoy the show after few episodes (I don’t know maybe because I finished it in 2 days it lost its euphoria) But that doesn’t mean I hate it. It just lacked of… ups and downs? Shouldn’t put so much expectation in what I watch. It leaves me in disappointment.

Beside I’m into that kind of people who really take care of what I see (in this case the style, the animation) allured by the handsome 2D men. From the first glance honestly none of the guys attracted me. Well, Tokiya though is getting interesting as the show runs but the problem is probably lies in me who can’t stand with the artworks. Syo and Natsuki (who only looks badass as Satsuki) are okay by the way. What I don’t understand is why the okama (Ringo Tsukimiya) here looks way more beautiful than any other charas? I started to like him again because of his beauty.

Thing that really bothers me is the random appearance of Cecil Aijima, claimed himself as the prince from far away land who was cursed being a black cat (Kuppuru) for ‘no-important-enough-to-tell-us-viewers’ reason. Like seriously so many WTF moments when I watched this *already wanted to drop this shit until Tokiya came on screen showing some affection to Haruka*. Too much time wasted for unimportant scenes. Getting sick with the visions they show when they sing. Just ew. Anyway they use the same pieces from episode 11 to 12 as they seem lazy to make any effort to impress us. The outfits of the idols are COMPLETE DISASTER.

I would really appreciate it if they make much more realistic clothes that idols would probably wear. And Hayato’s costume is just ewww. But whatever, their normal clothes are so much better. Alright I might go too much for it. I’m quite happy though because Haruka is being consistent here. Surprised to see her grandma (still looking pretty for her age). Feel sorry for Tokiya, had to betray his old agency just to get his second debut.

Best part about this anime is how they show everyone’s passions for music. Tokiya’s confession to everyone is the example. It’s nice to see everyone is fighting for their dreams. The music for this anime itself is WHAT REALLY MEETS MY EXPECTATION, should give a thumb up for this! And it DOES HAVE SOME SENSE OF HUMORS, like Natsuki’s bipolar persona, Syo’s phobia, and the epic arrivals of the principal always give a chuckle at least. It would be so much fun if they show more competitions between the guys here.

But as I hit the final episode, I’m charmed by their performance *again* I mean that DOKI DOKI. Anyway you see those 4 bishies sitting beside the teachers? They look cool by the way. I bet they will play some roles in UtaPri 2000%. My hated for them has lessened slightly so we'll see how I feel about Uta no Prince. So I don’t know guys, I’ve already downloaded half of the 2^nd season and I really have nothing to watch so why don’t give a try?
