Soredemo, Sekai wa Utsukushii Ep. 2 – Make It Rains, Princess…

This week’s episode is brilliantly beautiful. Full of humors and so much entertaining than the first episode! Some of you might get the feeling of watching the final episode but no. this is just the second episode, fills with unexpected sudden turn of events. Screw the animation though as long as pierrot can keep the good job with the stories and pace I’m happy (of course only if my eyes can take the animation quality).

This anime may be not so popular but it’s doing well if I’m not so biased we can say... impressive. The humor is a very plus point here. Like how can't you laugh when Livi and his servant think Nike isn’t pretty enough and throw her easily in prison, threatening her to choose between starvation or being Livi’s plaything. LOL at how the elders talk about this “plaything” *perverted thoughts pass*

Nike herself is so badass for a woman, she freaking controls the wind and breaks free from prison just to attack the young king on top of him. Humor plays its part again here, which I don’t mind. Well it’s hard to explain what Nike’s beauty means about to this young tyrannical king. Making her feels sorry for those not-child’s-eyes. Livius is not to blame here if you think by fact “flowers are just flowers”, but rain ritual is about ‘feeling’ the beauty. Anyway Nike gets kind of flash visions about Livi’s memories with his mom (his mom is pretty tho)

Dang, didn’t expect that arrow accident. I salute Nike for taking that shot, what a brave girl you are. And we come to this part I don’t really understand. Livi exiles some ‘traitors’ for his own safety and his conquering the world plan. And there is this coup d’etat act by setting fire to the king’s room. And here we go our rain princess saves the day by singing j-pop (because seriously it doesn’t sound like some ritual song, but now we know why they call this show; Soredemo, Sekai wa Utsukushii).

I mean after being technically divorced before marriage Nike still has the guts to come back and makes it rain baby. Anyway the servant tells the stories of Livius to Nike here, in the train exactly. I’m sure he’s crying here but he hides it saying the sky is too bright. Wanna know how will Nike chage this cold kid into his oldself. Anyway they get along so well.
