Soredemo, Sekai wa Utsukushii Ep. 1 - [First Impression] The Sun Kingdom

First time watching this kind of anime. I wasn’t expecting much but it turns out good. Well no thing is perfect but I still like this show. I just happened watch this show after some surfing on the internet although I’ve seen people talked about this earlier. So the story is quite new to me. I like how they show us some plot twist here. Yes plot twist. *finally a show with a good start T.T*

The story is about an unlucky princess, Nike Remercier (who can summon rain) from Rain kingdom who is sent (after being lost in rock-scissor-paper game with her hawwwt sisters) to marry a king, Livius Orvinus Ifriqiyah I, from the sun kingdom. The king himself has great reputation among the people for his greatness in ruling his own country. The funny thing is; the king is just a 15-yeard-old-child (yes. A freaking shota)! It’s funny how they escalate everything! And LOL at the parody fan-service scene, didn’t expect that to come.

Characters and Story – it’s entertaining honestly to watch this, especially how they make the main character as a strong women (I mean it literally. Damn she can control wind. that is badass!) who loves to inspect everything first. She’s friendly, independent, not weak and love her expressions! I think she has more than 50 shades of expressions. Basically it has a good plot to begin with. Surprised for the king, I know he’s just a kid but 15 can be considered a teenager too right? So I’m excited to see what the young king can do with Nike with that kind of personality. 

Animations – I don’t know but I’m not quite satisfied with the animation but it was okay. I think they only focus on the main characters. Not bothered seriously. I love how they draw Nike’s face and hair, not quite beautiful but it fits her persona. One thing I hate about Nike is her outfit, it’s too normal for an independent princess like her.

Overall, it’s enjoyable to think of what may come after few episodes, Nike and Livius are an odd but interesting couple to watch! Interesting note how will they fall for each-other. I mean look at the preview, I wonder how she will react when Livius asks her to make it rain. Plus I smell some wicked political plot. Anyway why Livius has to be naked in the ending?
