Continuing the regional tournament, Iwatobi and Samezuka are qualified for the next stage. Samezuka came first thanks to Makoto’s late start. Honestly, it’s just a regular episode. This friendly match is interesting though to watch but lack of rivalry like season 1. Still don’t understand what’s going on with Yamazaki, but his honesty feeling is understandable and God I’m getting sick with the scene that Rin always brags about.
Episode 8 was a lot of fun, Makoto volunteered to be a new coach in Iwatobi SC, I can see all the fangirls. Too bad I’m not a fan of this guy. Nitori is back with the struggle to improve his time with Yamazaki’s help along with Rin watching secretly.
You get this little boy Hayato; a little bro of a very kawaii old friend of Haruka, Kisumi. The heck, it’s already 8 episodes and suddenly they wanted to introduce a new character? Oh My God, I like Kisumi he was like “Makoto is mine” attitude to Haruka and Haruka was like “I don’t give two shits man”. Here we have this sign of what will Haruka be doing in the future concern again.
Makoto who can relate to Hayato’s fear towards water, tries his best to help him overcomes his fear. Here again haruka doesn’t give two shits. Nice advice; don’t resist the water, accept its presence. At last, Makoto taught Hayato the backstroke. It’s easy, if you are afraid to sink just look at the sky. Kinda cute actually seeing the three of them (Makoto, Haruka, Kisumi) together, especially Haruka’s reaction! Next week will great, I mean those previews!
