Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Ep. 17 – When Anger Rises.

Mahouka is getting good as we enter summer. What a shame if I remember the first episode was great but when we hit the middle of the first arc it was getting boring. Mahouka is saved now with this 9 Magic High Schools arc is going. Please note that I have a limit for Tatsuya and Miyuki incest times. They might not have this romantic relationship but God when I read the novel it wasn’t this gross. I mean when Tatsuya is back from CAD check (Tatsuya’s concern is proved here, a third party is interrupting First High attempt to win) Miyuki is already in her extreme brocon mode and these two start their lovey dovey craps while the whole First High team is watching. Instead I’m the one here who is ashamed watching this scene. Mayumi still likes teasing these two.

Realize it or not, this the first time Tatsuya really shows his anger and it’s all because a stupid who injected some kind of virus to his beloved Miyuki’s CAD. Scary Tatsuya is scary. Honestly, I’ve been thinking Mahouka is lack of something. Now I know what it is; emotion. Since our character is a hell of a stone we rarely have these emotions playing. Now it is out and it’s kinda lively.

Miyuki shines in Mirage Bats, beating all the finalists with a very big gap in score (thanks to the very Silver Taurus flying device). Like seriously it’s Shiba siblings we are talking about. Everyone loves her and she seems enjoying all the attention. Beside we have these 3 adults in actions. The guy in black’s fight is cool to watch. A good episode though, in the end we have a spoiled Miyuki being tucked in by Tatsuya. Seriously I don’t think I can take any incest vibe more than this in an episode. And finally the ending seems cool, I don’t know, I just get a feeling Tatsuya’s anger really affects the whole impression of this episode.
