Kamigami no Asobi Ep. 8, 9, 10 – From Christmas Festival, Haunting Lover to Cinderella ‘Bloody’ Play

Episode 8 and 9 covered the conflict between Baldr and Loki, ended in Tangled-ish way with those flying lanterns, then suddenly the ghost of Apollon’s ex appeared; well that explains why Apollon gets protective over Yui.  

Episode 10

Starts with a bloody scene when everyone minus Yui all lied down on the floor with something look like blood (oh, like we don’t know it’s not). They are actually given the right to do a play. Cinderella play exactly. Yui as Cinderella, Apollon as the Prince aka Moron (after some chaos it’s decided, I mean it’s funny to see those react when he says the Prince will marry her), Baldr as The Fairy God Mother aka Idiot Lightning God Who Dresses as Woman, Tsukiyomi and Totsuka as the Stepsisters (those Victorian dresses suit them. Naise choice), Hades as the Gloomy King, and the rest you can watch.

I cracked a little while watching this, why they suddenly let Anubis makes a quite mayor role in this episode? I just know he has a speaking disability. Actually I don’t like him, whatever though. Everything is going as planned even with Thoth’s narration without basis, thanks for the spilled coffee. As you can expected from Loki *claimed born-star* he does some improvisations getting all out with his servant role and what’s already a mess becomes as a shattered play *okay that’s a strong word*. Now I wonder why Yui is still so dense about their feelings. Duh.

Anubis comes causing the entire red juice ruckus, letting us know the source of the first scene of this episode. Luckily our mean narrator ends a play with a very easy conclusion. *well that escalated quickly*. I think everyone is aware about their remaining time now and start with what’s we’re gonna for tomorrow thing until suddenly Baldr pass out.
