Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love 1000% [First Impression] – Episode 1 & 2 ; Idols Are Chasing You!

I’m back! After months of boredom, home works and tests now here we are, facing the new Spring Season. Well, honestly as the title says, I’m not gonna talk about new animes. Just decided to watch some oldies and found *Reverse Harem Alert* Uta no Prince-Sama Maji Love 1000% as you can guess it’s another otome adaptation. It already finished its 2^nd season years ago and 3^rd is waiting in 2015. Okay, before I start my ranting lemme say this.

OH MY GAWD THAT OPENING. IM FREAKING CHARMED. AHHHH YOU GUYS MAKE ME BLUSHED. GOD DAMN CAN’T RESIST THE OPENING. SERIOUSLY YOU MUST CHECK THE SONGS IN THIS ANIME.

Yes, the opening theme (although it was actually the ending guess it was the first episode and they needed some attention catcher). NAISE choice.

-THE PLOT- is quite entertaining (yes, It HAS a fucking PLOT and I mean it!). I seriously believe there are some secret problems more to reveal here. The setting is in a special boarding school for debuting idols. Yes. A FREAKING I-D-O-L  S-C-H-O-O-L . LAWL at the Idol trap (there is this graduation concert and you are asked to perform a song you composed in a pair. if you win, you’ll be debuted in a special group BUT…. YOU CAN’T FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR PARTNER. Hahah Asian Idols do have a strict regulation) sorry guys I just can’t remember all the boys’ names except for the MC (let’s skip that part I’ll google it later). But there is one blue-haired-guy that catches my eyes. The main character is a young girl Haruka with a dream to write songs for her idol-turned-to-comedian-like Hayato *that’s what her roommate said (Tomochika Shibuya)* (who surprisingly has a younger ‘twin’ brother in S class) anyway I was shocked when they revealed the pink-haired-teacher (Ringo Tsukimiya) is a freaking GUY. Like OH MY GOD, I REALLY LIKE HER. WHY I ALWAYS FALL FOR GAYS? I mean she’s way more beautiful than Haruka. Damn such TROLOLOL moment *secretly wanted her to be the MC instead*

Like other love themed animes, one by one she meets the boys by fate *Okay I wanted to vomit every time I saw this cliché scenes* Like seriously how the hell that manwhore (Ren Jingūji) randomly saw Haruka helped a lost kid. Also that black cat (hmm suspicious). Such fates. Oh. Have I told you Haruka is showing some personalities (yeah not a significant turn of personality) *Sweet Jesus it’s a good sign remembering all the MCs I’ve watched especially in AMNESIA; dropped that shit already* yeah at least she responds and hardworking, showing normal interaction lah. So far it keeps me being curious as long as Haruka not being so dense like other MCs, I think I’m gonna stay still. Nice cliffhanger tho. No lack of humor I mean check out the Principal epic arrival I was like WTF but can’t deny it’s funny enough.

One thing that bothers me from the start, the CREEPY eyes of Haruka. For a moment I thought she’s fucking blind and I started to imagine my own version of a virtuous blind girl and some unbelievable-ridiculous story that I better not tell. Seriously her character design is okay, not bad but not really good. They boys aren’t really good looking but when they perform; Beautiful! glorious Princes-sama! OMG THAT BEATING HEARTS. Sometimes their big bodies don’t fit their heads. The animation is yeah.. called it standard. They used some chibis version btw in some scenes. So far my fav is Tokiya Ichinose

Class A

1. Otoya Ittoki – Happy go lucky red-haired-guy (I see some potential to be canon here)
2. Masato Hijirikawa – calm but way too serious,heir to the Hijirikawa Group (that bowl hair aint attractive btw)
3. Natsuki Shinomiya – Cute things obsessed, the size of his body don’t fit thehead

Class S

1. Tokiya Ichinose - Hayato's identical twin brother. That charming cold aloof guy. My fav.
2. Ren Jingūji – Manwhore. Nuf said.
