Ao Haru Ride really sticks to the manga so I have nothing to say about the anime since every detail are in. Anyway, wish they do something better with the animation. Since it follows (let’s just say) 1 episode worth a chapter, nothing much happens. But it’s good. They keep the pace slow, so we just need to enjoy the ride.
After all the drama inside the jungle, our main casts finally get together as well as problem rises. Futaba starts to realize her feeling towards Kou, unfortunately for her; Yuuri (her new found bestie) likes him too. Things get complicated when you don’t wanna hurt your precious friend while the other side you’re not so sure about your feeling.
Well, judging from these 6 episodes Futaba may look like a bad one for hiding her true feeling from Yuuri. Well, everyone, trust me we will get an honest and open battle of girls getting the guy, and the next time you’ll be surprised how things will get flipped and messed.
As for Kou, I never really understand guys; so I’m not saying anything. Unless he’s a perfect type of boyfriend for me. Never mind though. We know Kou still care for his former crush. Love Futaba’s monologue about how she’s so curious about the new Kou. It’s like you found something that had been lost in someone new, but you used to know. I just get this kind of hard to explain feeling.
Suuko Murao is my fav, not just pretty but this girl has her own love-problem no less interesting than our main wishy-washy teenage main casts. Her crush on Tanaka-sensei is something intriguing. Such a scandal if the whole school knows since we are talking about Japanese culture. Honestly I think they look cuter than MuraoxKominato.
Overall it has a good material to begin with; I just hope they add some new moments into the show which weren’t included in the manga because that’ll be great. Almost forgot, the insert song is amazing! Check it out; it’s I will by Chelsy :)
